Remembrance Day

For Rembrance Day (Sunday 13th November 2016) it was decided to open the Lodge Building on Newgate and offer refreshments of tea, coffee and biscuits to those returning from the Act of Remembrance at the Cenotaph in the grounds of the Bowes Museum. Several of local Masons paraded replete with the collars of their office and came back to the Lodge to assist with offering tea and coffee in addition tomaking people welcome and answering questions.
